1: Is my water really safe?
At Poland Spring we set an industry example for bottled water safety: *round-the-clock quality checks: we perform at least 15 quality checks every hour...that's roughly every four minutes. As an added precaution, we regularly microfilter, ozonate, and pass our water through ultra-violet light to make doubly sure it's safe. In fact, we screen for over 200 possible contaminants, far more than required by federal agencies.
*visual scrutiny: we think seeing is believing, so we perform continual on-the-spot visual inspections on our bottling line. and, all our bottles are stamped with time, date, and plant codes - you can see for yourself that you're buying the freshest, safest product possible.
*surprise inspections: we are subject to and welcome impromptu inspections by federal and state authorities. We also open our doors to outside inspections by the national sanitation foundation, and independent organization. It's easy to be up-front about our practices, because we believe in what we deliver; incomparable bottled water.

2: Water is water, right? Wrong! Drink in these important differences...
As remarkable as it might seem, spring waters from different geographical areas can taste very different. Spring water is a natural product that comes from the earth and retains the same properties and qualities as its underground source. Depending on the minerals present, water temperature, and other naturally occuring factors, each spring will impart its distinctive "personality" and taste to its water.

3: What gives Poland Spring Natural Spring Water its great taste?
A light blend of minerals contributes to the legendary great taste of our water. Every bottle of out natural spring water contains a production date code, so our customers can see for themselves that they're drinking fresh and great atsting bottled water.

Because we don't just care anout where our water comes from, we care about the natural world around us, too. Poland Spring is a leader in reducing its environmental impact through responsible production of most of its own bottles.
